Within the framework of Techfest Vietnam 2019, on the afternoon of December 5, the culinary tourism technology village held the "Gen and Digital Tourism" Seminar, bringing leading experts in the field of entrepreneurial innovation to discuss about the issues surrounding the start-up situation and favorable conditions for starting a business in the tourism sector in the near future.
Opening speech at the seminar, Mr. Ly Dinh Quan, Founder & CEO of Han River Incubator, Consultant of innovation programs and entrepreneurial ecosystem across the country had a couple of introductions about the Culinary tourism technology village as well as an overview of the startup situation in the tourism industry in Vietnam over the past time.
In addition to commenting on the important role of technology in the smoke-free industry, Mr. Jason Lusk, manager of ADB's strategic cooperation and accelerator programs, shared the topic "Technology for green hotels and sustainable destinations".
Next, the discussion on "Mass tourism - problems and solutions for an increasingly widespread phenomenon" with the coordination of Mr. Tran Xuan Moi, senior advisor, ATM ASIA took place vigorously with comments coming from speakers who are representatives of businesses, providing a multi-dimensional perspective on the current state of mass tourism in the country, the region, and the world as well as solutions to outstanding issues.

Besides, the challenges of developing tourism, protecting the environment, and typical tourism trends were also posed in the discussion with the topic "Eco-tourism: a solution or an accomplice to environmental issues "; The "Millennial tourism: way of shaping the marketing trend" under the coordination of Mr. Tran Xuan Moi, Senior Advisor, ATM ASIA and Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Thao, the manager of Shi Incubator.
In addition, the panorama of Vietnam tourism start-up was also shown through the culinary tourism showcase with Liberzy technology tourism village, Showcase Startup Village of tourism, and culinary technology project COXPLORE PROJECT. Moreover, through the presentation “Who will lose their jobs to artificial intelligence and how could we win?” Presented by Ms. Maryam Daryabegi - Founder of "Innovation Bazar", attendees of the seminar also listened to the proposal to develop tourism trends in the booming technology era.
