- Frank Nguyen has over 20 years of software development in the US and 10 years of software management experience in Vietnam. Frank has joined 3 successful Silicon Valley startups and has formed a few startups himself in Vietnam.

- In May 2012, Frank joined Microsoft Vietnam’s Developer Experience (DX) and Evangelism team as the chief evangelist to help increase awareness and technical capabilities for Microsoft products and services. Vietnam has one of the largest MS developer base in Asia with a lot of passionate and smart developers. With guidance and support from DX team, Vietnamese developers contributes 40%+ of the Windows Store applications in APAC.

- In August 2015, Frank formed the first Microsoft Accelerator in Vietnam in partnership with CLAS (Microsoft BizSpark Plus Network Partner) and Expara (Singaporean Enterpreneurship Training and VC company) to drive the adoption of Microsoft Azure among startups. This program is available to startups in Ho Chi Minh through CLAS Expara Vietnam Accelerator (CEVA), in Danang through Da Nang Entrepreneurship Support (DNES) Accelerator, and in Hanoi through Vietnam Silicon Valley (VSV) Accelerator.

- In January 2016, Frank launches the first Microsoft Health Innovation Lab (HIL). HIL links companies in the field of Biotechnology, Medical Devices, Healthcare Services and Diagnostics, and provides access to technologies, entrepreneurship training and venture capital funding to meet the healthcare demands of Vietnam.

- As of July 2017, Frank is reporting to Microsoft AHQ’s One Commercial Partner (OCP) team responsible for build-with ISVs and SIs in Vietnam.
