Tran Van Nam graduated from Hanoi Law University with LL.B., earned a MBA from Boise States University (USA); acquired a WIPO’s Master of Law in Intellectual Property from University of Turin (Italy) and obtained his Ph.D in economics from Hanoi National Economics University. Nam also has his Doctor of Law on technology transfer services from Vietnam Graduate Academy of Social Sciences. He used to work at the Idaho Small Business Development Center in 1995 and served as a Fulbright visiting lecturer at the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle for the 2002-2003 school year. Nam is an active member of IP Collegium, affiliated to Japan Institute for Promoting Invention & Innovation. Since 2002, Tran Van Nam has participated in the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) as an international arbitrator, practicing trade law and intellectual property matters. In late September 2019, Nam acted as the co-chair of the National Conference: Startup: the legal perspective for investment held in Hanoi under the aspire of the MOST Program 844 (V-Startup), (Email: firstname.lastname@example.org)
