Similarly, regulations regarding e-cigarettes (vapes) have been in effect since 2025, and residents and tourists must strictly comply to avoid penalties. Food and water safety are also important concerns. The general recommendation is to use bottled or treated water and prioritize well-cooked food, especially when experiencing street food. Understanding and respecting cultural etiquette, particularly at religious sites, is essential for integration and avoiding misunderstandings. Finally, exercising caution with social media and photography, avoiding sensitive content related to military or political matters, is a vital measure to prevent legal risks.
