Expanding Participation Among Young People, Students and Women
The exhibition is expected to include a “Startups for All” zone, featuring booths from young people, students and women entrepreneurs, as well as innovative community business models. This zone will provide opportunities for participants to present products, share experiences and make connections.
Under the plan, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union will lead efforts to involve young people, young entrepreneurs and youth startup networks. It will also select and introduce outstanding projects, ideas and startups. Activities will include networking, project presentations and connections with investors, markets and mentors.
The Youth Union will also lead the TECHFEST 2026 Youth Ambassador Programme. Selected Youth Union members and students will receive training to welcome and assist guests, partners, investors and international experts, and guide visitors through booth activities. Volunteers will support event operations throughout the programme, giving young people an active role in its delivery.
The Vietnam Women’s Union will lead efforts to involve women entrepreneurs and businesses founded or led by women. It will introduce products and notable startup models, including cooperatives and other jointly run business models managed by women. The Union will also help organise advice and mentoring activities, and connect women-led businesses with investment funds, companies, distribution networks and partners.
The Ministry of Education and Training will help bring universities, lecturers, researchers and students into the event. Educational institutions in Hanoi will be invited to send teachers and students to take part in suitable activities.
Creating More Opportunities to Explore and Experience Technology
Exhibitions, demonstrations and interactive activities will help visitors explore technology through products and examples of practical use. Planned exhibition themes cover areas of everyday life, including housing, transport, shopping, agriculture, manufacturing and city management.
A shared technology demonstration space is expected to feature robots, drones, self-driving vehicles, AI image recognition and virtual reality. Visitors will be able to explore and try these solutions, helping them better understand how technology can be used in production and daily life.
Community participation will help bring startup and innovation activities closer to users. The open exhibition space will allow exhibitors to talk with visitors and introduce solutions being researched, developed and put into use.
Through cooperation among public authorities, community organisations, educational institutions and businesses, TECHFEST Vietnam 2026 aims to broaden participation, encourage the public to explore technology and support community contributions to startup and innovation activities.
